So experienced Lyme warriors say “it gets worse before it gets better”. They warn you that you will have your ups and downs and your symptoms will intensify as you fight Lyme.
Tonight must be the “it gets worse” part. Over the past few days, my stabbing pains have increased. Tonight they are almost unbearable. Going from a healthy active girl to being doubled over on the floor in pain is a harsh reality.
I will continue to battle this illness that has no cure. I will continue to educate about the realities of living life with a hidden illness. I will continue to share my story for those who do not have a voice or the words to express themselves.
Keep your chin up battling friends. Somedays that is definitely easier than others, but it is always possible because God’s Got US!
