The process will be long…it will be grueling…it will be worth it!

Detox (noun): A process or period of time in which one abstains from or rids the body of toxic or unhealthy substances; detoxification.

My days are filled with finding creative ways to detox or rid my body of the grip Lyme Disease has on it. If only I could make a sign that says: Lyme NOT Welcome Here!

As treatment progresses and you target the highly advanced survival mechanisms of Lyme and the resistant co-infections, it will cause die off. Treatment must be slow, or the die off will overwhelm your system that is already taxed with toxins.
Toxic build up causes symptoms such as: chronic fatigue, insomnia, food or chemical sensitivities, headaches, inflammatory issues, pain, gastrointestinal problems, skin issues, cognitive function problems, hormonal imbalances….basically you feel horrible.

Five months into this treatment and I am still searching for creative ways to continue to detox my system. Infrared sauna, ionic foot bath, floating on 900lbs of epsom salt, GI detox medication, epsom salt baths, cryotherapy, massage, acupuncture, chiropractor, biomat…the list goes on.
We are exposed to toxins everyday in our environment. From harsh chemicals in everything we use, BPA, pesticides, cosmetics (seriously, have you read the label to know what is being absorbed into your body through your face?).19601059_10155466682906528_607486662210766100_n

As I continue to fight to regain my health, I have been forced to become aware of toxins that I am surrounded by. I continue to eliminate and change simple things around my house to help promote a healing environment. I have also added in essential oils from Young Living over a week ago. A cloud of lavender fields seems to go with me wherever I go. The more research I do on essential oils, the more intrigued I become.
I continue to fight and I am thankful to finally report I am seeing improvements! They are small, but I finally feel that I am heading in the right direction rather than stuck in a downward spiral.
Thank you for all my prayer warriors that continue to support me and lift me up when life is dragging me down. Please continue to pray for my friends near and far who are battling. Some are growing weary. The fight is not easy. #godsgotus  #peaceoutlyme

    1. Chronic pain is overwhelming and frustrating. Throw insomnia in there and I was a mess. I am thankful to be living almost pain free these days. Encourage him to keep fighting for another day.
