How does a girl get through 8 hour treatment days?!?!…with an amazing support system.

Shout out to my parents who flew me to Florida for a one day doctor appointment that turned into a month. My mom stayed with me and sat by my chair everyday during IV infusions, brought me lunch, ran errands and reassured me when life got a bit crazy. 💚

My amazing family who I miss so much back home. While this has been a challenge to be so far away, I’m thankful for their support to help me regain my health. Thank goodness for FaceTime! Just one more day of treatment and I will be back where I belong. ❤️

And the staff from the doctor’s office!!! Let me just tell you how amazing they have been to help me through this process. From taking my vitals, to unhooking my IV everytime I had to go to the bathroom (which was A LOT), to sharing the journey with me….and we can’t forget the beautiful photo bomber in the background. She is the doctors mother and would sing songs to the entire room when she would be wheeled in. This woman has a zest for life that is contagious. Wish I could bottle some of that and bring it back. 💚

And all of the sweet cards, texts, messages and gentle reminders that God’s got me! Fellow Lymies: this journey has not been easy, but it has been worth it! We meet with the doctor tomorrow to discuss the protocol I will need to follow at home for the next 6 months. I will share more on my treatment journey later. For now, I am thankful to be feeling loads better. I was living with pain levels around 6-9 everyday. My pain levels are 0-1!!! No more sleepless nights spent curled up in pain on the floor! Whatever your battle may be, chin up and keep fighting for another day. #Godsgotus
